Someone recently asked what does Easter mean to you? My answer, Love conquered death, Love gave me direct access to the throne, Love set me free, Love saved me, Love secured me, Love gave me new life.

Jesus was crucified, he was rejected and left all alone just for me, He took the stripes for me, He was beaten and accused just for me. He was nailed to the cross just for me. If I was the only sinner Jesus would still have gone to the grave for me. So because He lives I live, because He rose, I rise.

So as you celebrate Easter with your family and friends today remember that He went to the cross just for you. Celebrate the reason Lord, He is no longer where He lay.
