True Worship Summit extends deadline in New Artist Showcase opportunity of a lifetime worth £50,000

True Worship Summit announces New Artist Showcase deadline extension after multiple requests for more time to submit the required videos to qualify in Stage 1. The new deadline is 12 midday on Sunday, 28th January 2018.

The True Worship New Artist Showcase (TWNAS) is a very exciting and unique inclusion in True Worship Summit’s series of events and activities. The TWNAS will provide an opportunity for both aspiring and established unsigned artists to win the music opportunity of a lifetime with prizes worth up to £50,000.

True Worship Summit is Europe’s first ever conference of it’s kind and is set to make its official debut in London from the 8th – 10th March 2018. The highly anticipated series of activities brings together some of the most influential names in UK & US Gospel with the aim to empower, educate and equip in one grand 3-day event. For the first time, Europe will see the likes of Kirk Franklin, Israel Houghton, Marvin Sapp, Kim Burrell, Kiki Sheard and Donald Lawrence alongside Muyiwa, Noel Robinson, Sonnie Badu, Bazil Meade MBE of LCGC,

Mark Beswick, Lurine Cato and other top UK talent.

The True Worship New Artist Showcase is a fantastic inclusion in this year’s debut event. It is truly heartwarming to see the response so challenging as it was when the requests came in we just had to move the deadlines. The New Artist Showcase is all about providing an opportunity where none exists. The extended deadlines will give more artists a chance to record their videos and get them in to us. The excitement is real and this will impact lives in a major way”, says event organiser Michael Agyei.

There are also benefits along the way for every entrant as the registration fee includes entry to the conference and artist development sessions by industry executives. Prizes for the winner of New Artist Showcase amount to a whopping £50,000 and include a recording contract, international distribution deal, album recorded in Toronto, Canada, lead single produced by Fred Hammond, vocal coaching by Kim Burrell, album release concert, photoshoot, website and music video for the lead single.

There are a total of 5 Stages to the competition, starting with artists being asked to create and submit two video entries of songs by any of the overseas guest artists for True Worship Summit 2018 namely Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Kierra Sheard, Kim Burrell, Donald Lawrence, Israel Houghton.

The Stages continue through to judging and shortlisting with the top 3 finalists announced by 5th March. All 3 finalists will perform an original song at True Worship Summit, after which the winner will be announced and perform live at the Celebration Concert.
