“E Go Better” is Uniekgrace’s first big project, an EP of 6 tracks that will get you dancing from beginning to the end. There is a common theme in the songs which is WORK. Faith without works is dead, says the Bible. We believe so much in God to do so much for us but some of us don’t realize God is not into multiplying the talent of a man that refuses to work. Uniekgrace reminds us of this message but rest reassured, you will dance through as you absorb her catchy lyrics and beat.

The Extended Play project includes:

Funkè Ojo-Emessiri known by her stage name UniekGrace was pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback she re- ceived when she started taking music more seriously, but this incredibly talented Urban-Soul singer/songwriter has been building a buzz in Nigeria since the release of her single “I’m a survivor” in 2016.

This mix seems to be to the liking of many, as UniekGrace has already two Nigerian tours under her belt, where she always makes a point of honor to get the crowd as engaged as possible: “It is important to me, that my audience is involved during my performances; that’s why I always take the time to teach people the chorus”.

UniekGrace started humbly out of a true passion for music and fate. With her cat- chy lyrics and positive energy, she ma- nages to share good vibes and messages of hope to the rest of the world. “I love to sing and dance” states the singer, “and seeing people happy and smiling is highly rewarding”.

“it is a mix of Afro pop with European house music influences”

Even though UniekGrace has been busy touring, promoting her project at numerous radio shows or expending her distinctive fashion style thanks to her Uniekgrace Vogue collection, she is very excited about her first EP “E go Better” which was released on the 8th of January 2018. This release will be the opportunity to inspire even more people.

Being a typical third culture child, UniekGrace grew up divi- ding her time between Italy, Switzerland, the USA and Nigeria, where she encountered many different styles. These rich experiences enabled her to benefit from a large palette of influences while defining her own sound. Indeed, it is by blending Nigerian pop with European house that the now Brussels-based singer found the most suitable sound to carry her message of hope. “I would call my sound as Afro- pean” explains the versatile artist, “it is a mix of Afro pop with European house music influences”.

“What it comes down to” notices UniekGrace “is to tell eve- ryone that we are all unique. That we are all special. I want to share a message of hope and attract as many people as possible thanks to my positive vibes”.
