70 Christians beheaded in Church in DRC amidst on going war
The ongoing violence in DRC has again left over 70 Christians dead. The heinous act was carried by the deadly group linked with ISIS.
This is not the first time Christians are attacked in the north eastern African county.
According to available information, at about 4am on Thursday February 13, suspected militants from the allied democratic forces(ADF) approached homes in Maybe in Lubero, shouting get out and dont make any noise. Men and women were all captured. It was reported that when other members of the community head about the incidence, they all gathered to fight for their release but were later captured by the ADF who have already held the entire village hostage.
All the 70 believers captured were taken to a Protestant church in Kasanga where they all 70 were murdered.
According to Muhindo Musunzi, a director of the Kombo primary school, one of the schools belonging to a church said the schools and health centres where all shutdown because of the security situation.
Following the unprovoked attack on Christians alot of them have fled the area for safety.
An elder of the CECA20 church, in pain said, we don’t what to do or how to pray, we have had enough of massacres.
Let’s all put believers in DRC in our prayers as we totally condemn the dastardly act of violence against citizens of DRC.
