BBC Introducing Artist Zion Announces New Single Release

Following the success of his debut single ‘Amen’, Manchester based singer/songwriter Zion has returned with another exciting track entitled, ‘Captured My Heart’
With his debut single receiving rave reviews alongside being featured on key radio stations across the country including BBC Radio, UCB and achieving ‘Track of the Week’ on Premier Gospel – there has been a lot of anticipation around his second release.
Zion said: “The response I got from ‘Amen’ was more than I could ever dream! So I can’t wait to share my second single ‘Captured My Heart’ with my supporters.”
”Captured My Heart’ sees Zion show his vulnerable side and speaks of how a very difficult situation caused him to lose hope and his faith but his mother’s relentless love, God and close friends strengthened him through it all. About the single he said:
“Captured My Heart” is a personal reflective song that echoes our need for the space to be vulnerable and the struggle we sometimes have in maintaining hope.”
A strong melodic guitar which successfully fuses pop and soft rock influences to create a captivating sound befitting of its title.

ABOUT ZION
Nigerian born but hailing from Manchester, up and coming artist ‘Zion’ (Kunmi Ogunsola ) is a singer/ songwriter, musician and choir director whose approach to music has already positioned him as ‘one to watch’ amongst Christian music industry players.
Zion’s musical journey started back in 2008 as part of his church worship team as a drummer. His leader recognised Zion’s vocal ability and gave him the opportunity to start leading worship.
