The word of God teaches about the power of gratitude. An act of continuous thanksgiving to God births joy, happiness, hope and inspires faith. Gratitude helps us to see and stay focused on counting the daily blessings of the Lord and finding blessings in our daily life.
We give thanks even when it looks hard, the promise of God is to comfort and provide during the times of need.
Gratitude is the bedrock to a happy and fulfilling life. The verses below emphasizes the importance of being thankful.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6)
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17)
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” (Psalm 100:4)
