Bible Verses to pray with when seeking for Mercy

At some points in life you may feel empty, drained and overwhelmed with situations. Or maybe you fallen astray and don’t know what to do going forward, all your need is the mercy of God.
You know understand that God’s mercy, love, grace and favor are made available for you through the redemption that’s in Christ Jesus.
You need to also know that in the light of our sins we deserve punishment of death but God showed us mercy and compassion by withholding any form of punishment against us even though we deserve it. Instead He sent his son to take our place. God does not show us mercy because we are good or do good. If he decides to punish us for our sins, it still doesnt make him cruel, it will be just.
Nevertheless, the scriptures listed below will help you pray and seek for mercy as you approach the throne of grace.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,” (Ephesians 2:4)
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.” (1 Chronicles 16:34)
“Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.” (Exodus 15:13
Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.” (Numbers 14:19)

God’s desire is to show you mercy and that you will open your heart to receive it.
Read these scriptures and mediate/prayer fervently on them and experience the mercy of God.
As you seek for his mercy do not forget to show mercy to people also. It’s important that that if you truly desire His mercy.
For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.” (James 2:13)
We encourage you to spend at least 10-20minutes of your time praying these prayers.
