Written by on 9th September 2020

Scotland based recording artiste Colleen Macauley drops highly anticipated EP titled ‘ Let Your Light Shine’.

Prior to the release of this Ep, she serenaded her audience with Love Nwantiti. Nwantiti captures the love we receive without the giver complaining or having to run low or out of love.

The EP is packed with 5 lovely and highly anointed songs.

Colleen’s single ‘Love Nwantiti’ made so much waves and gained massive appeal on radio and online.

She spoke about the EP and the inspiration behind each song. According to Colleen, “FORTRESS from the Ep was written at a time when I needed God more than ever, it’s been a process, but I am thankful”

DIS LOVE NA WAN TIN TIN, talks about the extra ordinary love of Christ towards mankind, His intimacy, His love for me captivated my heart, that I couldn’t help but Express it to Him by singing it to the world.

Furthermore, LET YOU LIGHT SHINE” is drawn from the Mathew 5:14-16 “Ye are the light of the world”

Jesus is the light that is shining all over the world just now, over the disastrous physical and spiritual pandemic we find ourselves in globally and He has called us to shine this light every we go.

Finally, on EVERLASTING GOD, I wrote this song at a time where I knew I needed God in my life more than ever before. It’s a song that reminds us of who God is. He is the everlasting God and non can compare to him.

Colleen summarises by saying that, “Gospel music is not gospel without Jesus in it. Because he is the gospel we sing about.

It is her hope that this EP will encourage listeners to be the light everywhere they go.

Colleen started off her musical journey in 2019 with her debut single ‘Dis Love Na Wan Tin Tin. She is currently an independent artiste to watch out for.

She has plans to release a major body of work in 2021.

EP was produced by X_tee Muzik Lab from Scotland and its available across all digital platforms
