Fred Hammond Presents ‘Sensere The Soul Of Future Worship Vol. 2’
Written by Sunny Unachi on 21st November 2025
Sensere isn’t just a band—they’re a full-blown movement. For more than twenty years, the Miami-born collective has fused R&B, funk, and soul into a rich, unmistakable Gospel sound that feels both timeless and refreshingly bold.
But 2025 has become the year everything shifted. After decades of pouring heart, sweat, and soul into their craft, Sensere has stepped into a new level of recognition, breaking records and capturing the attention of Gospel lovers everywhere.
Their hit single “That’s God…LaLaLa” made history as the band’s first-ever #1 Mediabase single, also soaring to #2 on the Billboard Gospel Radio chart. The track serves as the lead single from their fourth studio album, Fred Hammond Presents: Sensere – The Soul of Future Worship Vol. 2, released via Tribl Records/Wright Sound Music & Entertainment.
The album is produced by Sensere founder and Grammy-nominated musician and producer James “Jdubb” Wright, whose vision continues to shape the group’s distinctive, future-forward sound.
With momentum stronger than ever and milestones stacking up, Sensere’s 2025 is shaping up to be not just a standout year—but a defining moment in Gospel music history.
“We’ve been at this for decades and it feels like this year God showed me what faith can produce,” says Wright. “We have stayed true to ourselves, and the vision God gave us for Sensere. We are grateful that we are starting to reap the fruits of our labor.”
Fred Hammond Presents: Sensere The Soul of Future Worship Vol. 2 is a work of genius that features powerhouse vocalists Mali Music, Keyondra Lockett, B. Slade, Darlene McCoy and Fred Hammond in addition to Sensere, which is a triple threat band that not only plays – but sings (and as those who have seen them live know) and dances. Fred Hammond says that he wanted to present this album boldly because it is his way of saying to the world, “Pay attention – this is where Gospel is headed.”
The world is paying attention. The success of “That’s God…LaLaLa” has created an array of opportunities for Sensere to broaden its base with national interviews such as GetUp! Mornings with Erica Campbell and performance platforms such as Radio One’s Praise in the Park Atlanta where they were the house band backing award-winning artists James Fortune, Dottie Peoples and William Murphy in addition to performing songs from their latest album.
The momentum continues to build as Sensere prepares to release the Christmas single “Joy & Peace” ft. Adolphus on November 28.
