Jesse Duplantis Asks For Donations to Buy $54 Million Jet “For the Lord”

Jesse Duplantis, the leader of Jesse Duplantis Ministries, is asking for a new Dassault Falcon 7X, a three-engine private jet in addition to the other 3 jets he has. He justified in a five-minute video posted last week on his website by saying it could go farther, therefore saving on airplane fuel. “Pray about becoming a partner to it,” he tells viewers.
In the Video, Duplantis says that the planes get him closer to the Lord — both literally and figuratively — and he had a divine conversation in which Jesus asked for the new aircraft by name. “It was one of the greatest statements the Lord ever told me, he said, ‘Jesse do you want to come up where I’m at?'” the minister also said that God specifically told him, “I want you to believe me for a Falcon 7X.” When he worried about the price, God told him, “Jesse, I didn’t ask you to pay for it, I asked you to believe for it.
Jesse says the three-engine plane would allow the ministry to fly “anywhere in the world in one stop,” reducing fuel costs while maintaining a global reach. He says Jesus Christ “wouldn’t be riding a donkey” today — “he’d be in an airplane flying all over the world.”
Duplantis goes on to tell his followers that jets, especially nice ones with good fuel efficiency, allow him and his ministries to reach more people around the world. And no, it wouldn’t technically be his, it would be the ministry’s.
“All it’s gonna do is it’s going to touch people, it’s going to reach people, it’s going to change lives one soul at a time,” Duplantis said of the aircraft. “I really believe that if Jesus was physically on the earth today, he wouldn’t be riding a donkey,” he added with a chuckle.
In the video, Duplantis also shows his followers a photo of him standing beside his other three jets: a Cessna Citation 500, an IAI Westwind II, and a Dassault Falcon 50. Under the portrait is a quote, which he proudly reiterates: “It’s not about possessions, it’s about priorities.”
Jesse Duplantis Ministries has one mission to share God’s message of salvation through Jesus Christ with the world. Jesse wants everyone to have an opportunity to know the real Jesus. Approachable, personable, compassionate, and full of joy, that’s the real Jesus that Jesse knows and loves. And it’s his mission in life to make sure everyone on every continent have an opportunity to know Jesus, too. JDM is continuing to make a difference from the first sermon Jesse preached in 1976 through today.
