After years of lending her powerhouse vocals to Grammy-winning artist Lauren Daigle, joining worship movements like Maverick City Music, and traveling the world leading others in worship, Lizzie Morgan is stepping into a new season with a voice all her own.
Today, she releases her debut single, “Can’t Help But Praise,” marking the beginning of her journey as a solo artist. The song offers a heartfelt glimpse into her upcoming debut album, Not My Will, a live worship project arriving August 22 via Provident Entertainment.
Recorded live in Nashville with a room full of friends and fellow worshippers, Not My Will captures the raw, intimate spirit of a worship night grounded in both deep tradition and fresh perspective. The album reflects Lizzie’s roots in the church and her personal journey of faith, blending timeless worship with a sound and message that resonates with today’s generation.
For Lizzie Morgan, this isn’t just music, it’s ministry, legacy, and a step of obedience.
“This album is incredibly personal, filled with songs that reflect my journey with the Lord and the many ways He’s carried me through different seasons of life,” shares Morgan. “I’m so thankful to Jason Ingram and Rob Elmore for their brilliant production and for helping bring this vision to life. I’m also deeply grateful to the many friends who co-wrote these songs with me who poured their hearts into every lyric and melody. This has truly been a labor of love, faith, and worship.”
In addition to her strong roster of co-writers, including Jason Ingram, Jonathan Stamper, Naomi Raine and Stephen and Lori Ward, Not My Will features vocal collaborations with Provident label-mate Seph Schlueter, as well as past creative partners Ryan Ofei and Jonathan Stamper, blending diverse voices into a cohesive worship experience.
