Social Media stir
The timely release comes after Minister Taf became the topic of conversation on ‘The Copo Show Podcast’, dubbed the funniest podcast in the world. The conversation sparked a stir on social media, following the artist’s invite to Tab Church London in Lewisham, where he performed a catalogue of Gospel Reggae songs from his new album, at their New Years Eve crossover service.
The Copo Show Podcast posted on Tik Tok an intriguing conversation titled ‘Who’s heard of Dancehall
Gospel?’, referring to ‘BAM BAM’, one of the podcasters marvelled “He was doing Bashment Gospel, it’s the first time I’ve heard of Bashment Gospel.” “He was saying Bloy, tell Satan Bloy Inna his face.”
Premier Gospel, one of UK’s leading Radio stations also picked up on the growing talk, with a remixed video on
their Instagram page, contrasting The Copo Show Podcast’s conversation and Minister Taf’s headline
appearance at the 2022 Premier Gospel Awards.
A Tik Tok user also posted a video of Minister Taf on the night, with the caption “Let’s not get it confused, he had a serious message to spread”. Minister Taf says
Delivering the Gospel in a different way, as you know, Jesus performed many miracles in a different way. Dat isit, mon!
