MŌRIAH Releases Buena Vida A Spanish Companion to Her Nice Life EP

Written by on 1st November 2025

Latin-country artist MŌRIAH continues to blend her roots and storytelling with the release of Buena Vida, the Spanish-language companion to her debut EP Nice Life, which dropped just last week (October 24).

Nice Life introduced six heartfelt tracks, all co-written by MŌRIAH and produced by Paul Mabury. Now, Buena Vida brings those same songs to life in Spanish, arriving fittingly on the eve of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) — a time to celebrate family, memory, and connection.

“Since this project was inspired so deeply by my family, I couldn’t wait to translate it into Spanish,” MŌRIAH shares. “Buena Vida is the first project I’ve ever released that my family—especially my grandfather—will be able to fully understand and enjoy. Spanish is their heart language, and this EP is my way of honoring that.”

She goes on to describe a special moment of meaning that tied it all together: “After finishing the EP, I noticed an old iron post just down the dirt road from my grandfather’s doublewide trailer in El Paso, Texas. It read ‘La Buena Vida.’ To me, it was a beautiful reminder that even in the simplest, most unassuming places, we can find real joy and love with the people who matter most. That’s what I call a Buena Vida.”
