“Sauced in the Blood,” a new gospel drill track by Shack Santima, Rev J, and Zelijah, highlights the
transformative power of Christ’s blood as a covering and answer to our sins. A bold blend of faith and drill!

What each artist had to say about the track:

‘Sauced in the Blood’ is deeply personal for me, and it’s a reflection of how the blood of Jesus has changed
everything in my life. The lyric “ever seen a man bolo and he ain’t been gym? That’s the inner man filled to the
brim,” speaks to the power of the Holy Spirit working within us. It’s like when someone is physically strong
without ever stepping into a gym, there’s a hidden strength that comes from the inside out.

In the same way, the transformation I’ve experienced isn’t about external effort but about being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and strengthened by the blood of the Lamb. That inner man, renewed and empowered, gives me the strength to keep running the race. Titus 3, reminds us that we’re saved not by what we do, but by His mercy…through the washing and renewal of the Holy Spirit. For me, that’s what ‘sauced in the blood’ is all about: it’s about being filled, strengthened, and ready to face whatever comes, because of what Christ has done within us. It’s not our own strength, but His. – Zelijah

For me ‘Sauced in the Blood’ is me boasting not in myself, but boasting in the blood of the Lamb that was shed
for me. Because of Jesus’ blood I am covered, I am safe and protected, I can celebrate the fact that it is
finished and remind myself that I am not fighting from a losing battle but I am fighting from a place of victory,
“He wins in the battle, He wins in the war the enemies losing Of course” – Shack Santima

‘Sauced in the Blood’ is a song about getting through those wilderness experiences, speaking more to my fellow believers who are in a place of struggle or challenges and are not doing the best to keep up. I was in a similar place writing these lyrics, this is my call to my brethren to keep going, keep running the race.
