Over the weekend BMI announced Sinach as the winner of the song of the year for the song ‘Way Maker’
Sinach took to social media to anounce her excitement on winning the award, BMI SONG OF THE YEAR! So grateful to everyone that raised this anthem! #Godisnotaman.”
Way Maker has won other awards recently after gaining global attention. In 2020, the song made it to Billboard Christian songwriter chart holding number one for 12 weeks. She also won the song of the year at the 51st GMA Dove Awards making her first Nigerian to win the award.
