Sinach’s hit song ‘Way Maker’ bags Multiple Dove Award Nominations

Nigerian singer and multiple award winning artiste Sinach’s hit song ‘Way Maker’ bags multiple Dove Awards Nominatiosns. Way Maker is one of the songs of the very respected singer and writer that has gained massive acceptance across the globe with several covers by many top rated artiste.  Osinachi Joseph popularly known as Sinach nomination in three categories – including the biggest song category – of the Dove Awards 2020 in the United States was received by many as sign that a Grammy is in the waiting.

The Hit song Way Maker is nominated for ‘Song of the Year’, Spanish Language Recorded Song of the Year (as recorded by Priscilla Bueno), and Worship Recorded Song of the Year (as recorded by Leeland).

For the first time ever a song written by a Nigerian gospel artiste is vying in for such category. The song was released in 2015 and has since become fans favourite.

Speaking about the nomination, Sinach said “This nomination could only have come through the Spirit of God and not man,” Sinach said. “As I have said before, this song was born from the Spirit and it is soaring on the wings of the Holy Ghost. It is a song for the now. I am grateful to everyone who has supported us, the churches, the ministers who have taken this song to the ends of the earth, and the many people it continues to be a blessing to.”
