Skillet Drops First-Ever Christmas Track “O Come, O Come Emmanuel

Written by on 21st November 2025

22x platinum rock powerhouse SKILLET is stepping into the holiday season with a bold first: their debut Christmas recording, a stirring and cinematic version of “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.” The release arrives with an emotionally charged music video that has already caught national attention, including a special social collaboration with FOX & Friends.

This milestone caps a landmark year for the band. Following a run of packed summer shows across Europe, SKILLET continued the momentum with a sold-out Central and South American tour, electrifying crowds in Mexico City, Lima, Buenos Aires, and Santiago. All of this led into their current U.S. run—The Awakening Tour with Jeremy Camp—which kicked off November 6.

Fans can celebrate the season with the band on December 2, when SKILLET hosts A Rock Feed Christmas Special live on YouTube—an evening filled with music, conversation, behind-the-scenes moments, and surprises. The event will include a special live Q&A with U.S. military veterans, presented in partnership with VET TIX, an organization the band has passionately supported for years.

This Christmas, SKILLET is shining a spotlight on both VET TIX and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, encouraging fans to give, uplift, and spread hope during a season that needs it most.

“Our fans have been demanding a Christmas song for years, and we are so thrilled to have finally recorded one,” say John and Korey Cooper. “We arranged and produced it ourselves, so we were able to put our heart and soul into it. Making a classic piece sound like Skillet was the mission, and we can’t wait for fans to hear it!”

Reinforcing their reputation as a band with a massive global impact, earlier this fall SKILLET announced their return to Europe the spring of 2026. The spring tour will hit 23 cities including London, Glasgow, Paris, Munich, Warsaw and Barcelona, with tickets on sale now at Skillet.com.
