Celtic Worship Releases Christmas Album

First assembled in late 2016, Celtic Worship are comprised of some of the most interesting & innovative musicians in Scotland’s flourishing music scene. The band is driven by a sincere desire to use their skills, giftings and various abilities to praise and make known the gospel of Jesus Christ. Together they explore old hymns and write new music with the instrumentation and musical language of their native
Scotland, featuring the powerful and unique sound of bagpipes, whistles and fiddle.
They have since released two studio albums, which have amounted 7.5 million streams on Spotify & Apple Music, as well as 25 million views on over their Youtube videos.
Come Behold: Christmas Collaborations The band will release a new collaborative album in 2022 – Come Behold: Christmas Collaborations – featuring an array of special guest artists from across the globe, including Ron Block, Norrie MacIver, Unoma Okudo, Lucie Hendry and Blue Rose Code. On the album lies unique, Scottish infused versions of many classic Christmas Carols, opening with an upbeat version of ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’, led by the sound of the band’s latest addition, David Hogg, and Nashville Banjo sensation Ron Block.
‘Joy To The World’ transcends into a roaring bagpipe melody, and there’s also a version of Silent Night in Gaelic, Scotland’s native language, ‘Ciuin an Oidhch’, which features Norrie MacIver of the band Skipinnish. The band have also composed 3 brand new Christmas songs for this album, ‘Prince of Peace’, ‘A Child is Born’ and ‘The Prologue Carol’.
Celtic Worship will appear on National UK Television this season, being featured on both BBC One and TBN ‘Christmas Specials’
