Nathanael declares “It’s Working Out For My Good” even though, in life… things, people & seasons “Fade Away”
“Fade Away” & “IWOMG”
Trinidad and Tobago songwriter/musician Nathanael released his first two offerings for the year 2024 this past week. Asked about the double single release – the gospel/inspirational artiste shared that he wanted “to do something different” heading into what he believes is a new season for him.
“These tracks are… me – me creatively, me emotionally, me spiritually – they capture, in sound, my recent life journey and all the vulnerable pieces of each experience – the challenges, the shortcomings, the losses and the victories… they’re different, but very much connected.”
“Last year was sobering. Pain and disappointments humble you. We’re not in charge here… an, for me, those experiences reminded me of God’s sovereignty and solidified the need to trust Him… When all else fades away God remains consistently faithful.”
“Coming out of those experiences, however, you realize that we don’t always see the big picture. The journey en route to the destination is challenging… but it’s always part of a bigger plan. You know how they say: ‘don’t let one bad episode cancel the show…’ That’s how I see purpose. Inspite of all the bad circumstances, it’s working out for my good.”

The singer shared via his social media recently.
“Fade Away” is a signature r&b fused dancehall record which discusses his struggles with losing his mom and the difficult times faced in life and music. The track is a sobering reminder of God’s faithfulness and steadfastness in ever changing times.
The record, a part of the newly released “Diary Riddim” was collaboratively produced by T&T’s Always Kreative and Jamaica’s Bull Puss Entertainment.
On the creative contrary, “IWOFMG” – IT WORKING OUT FOR MY GOOD – is quite the opposite, as Nathanael, this time, brings a high tempo offering – drenched in soothing melodies laid upon a rhythmic Caribbean pulse.
