Assent Tweed started singing in 1995 when he got born again and discovered his talent as a music minister. “It came as a vision the same night I gave my life to Christ and I have been living and singing for Christ since”, says Tweed.

He was a member of the group “Gospel Lite” and they released our album “Reachin Out” in 1997. After that he moved from Delta State to Port Harcourt where he was invited to join the group “Asu Ekiye n De Nu Dimension” – they came out with a hit album “Back2Base” in 2001. He was a guest artiste in Kefee’s album “Brannama 1 Woruno” which was also a hit – check it out on Youtube.

In 2003/04, he featured in U-JEFF’s album “Another phase”. He won an award in Nigeria as “Best HIP HOP Upcoming Gospel Astist 2004” and the “Most Aired Played Album 2004”. The following year, he left for South Africa to continue his studies in Sound Engineering.  He released his  debut album “HERE’S MY HEART” in Nov 2007. In his last visit to Nigeria he perfomed live with music great, Adlan Cruz in Port Harcourt City. He is presently the Assistant Music Director of Christ Embassy Southern Africa.

His current single “Keep Loving You” talks about God’s grace and how mindful He is to us all. His steadfast love never ceases and so we should keep loving Him in every stage of our lives . Praise your way to the top.
