DESOLA is an inspirational singer, songwriter and a music artist.

The MOBO featured artist originally born into a non-religious home always felt that there
was something unique about music that touches the heart. This feeling no doubt had a
massive impact in her life as a teenager and the desire to sing continued when she came to the
UK. Having sang with music groups and church choirs, it was only a few years ago that she
yielded to the unrelenting call into the music industry. It was at this point that a desire to
become an inspirational artist with a message was then birthed.
Her life was filled with stories that are a mix of tears and laughter that describes the
challenges and victories that she has been through. With this, she keeps her head above water
by singing her heart out – the songs she put together to inspire her, are contained in her debut
albums which has in many ways recorded testimonies from fans around the world.
She has won and nominated for major UK Gospel awards such as Gospel Touch Music
Award Critic choice 2016, PraiseTek RnB artist of the year 2015 and a nominee for BEEFTA
Female Gospel Artist nominee 2016.   She was named UK gospel rising star in a MOBO
article 2016.  Her track "Who can" is featured in the Tru-life UK Gospel Compilation Album
with other UK pioneering gospel artists.  She has had successes in the UK StepFWD
Christian Chart 2015 and 2016 in which she has had three Top 3 tracks.
DESOLA has recently headlined the iconic VORTEX JAZZ CLUB, London, DESOLA
LIVE AT VORTEX last year August showcasing her amazing talent as well as sultry, crispy
sound. She received a number of great reviews from this night. The success was
immediately followed by the release of her first audio and video single JESUS SAVE ME
from her forthcoming second Album she has titled “INTIMACY” to be released very soon
this year.
She headlined at the London African Music Festival at the Hootananny, Brixton, London.
She supported Erica Campbell and Annastasia Baker on the final leg of her UK tour at the O2
Shepherd Bush Empire. She has featured in several major TV, Radio and event appearances
such as Premier Gospel UK, Zoe Records among many others.
Desola’s eclectic musical taste which cuts across neo –soul and jazz to RnB and traditional
gospel are reflected in her songs; her songwriting is touching and heartfelt. She has a natural
ability to connect with the listener ensuring that the message of hope and faith is not
compromised but is presented in a creative and melodious way.
