Ama Shallangwa Releases New Single Titled Praise The Lord

Ama Shallangwa is a dynamic music minister, worship leader, very vibrant and coruscating child of God. She releases a spanking new single with an official music video titled “Praise The Lord.”

Speaking on the inspiration behind this song, Ama says “I appreciate my great God for his gift and calling upon my life, I thank him for his leading, his awesome presence, and divine direction to pen down the lyrics of this song.

“The song was inspired in 2012 by the Holy Spirit, and instructed by Him to be released on 23rd September 2018.

“This highly recommended song was impressed in my heart to remind people that though times may seem tough and rough, we don’t have to flow with the tides; we don’t have to go with the flow. We can choose to be different instead. We can choose to hold on to God’s words.

“Let everything that has breath “praise the Lord”- (Psalm 150:6, Psalm 34:1) . Never cease to praise him no matter the situation; Praise Him and forget your worries, praise Him and see the miraculous happen, for God only resides in an atmosphere where He is praised. ABOUT AMA SHALLANGWA

Ama Shallangwa is an Edinburgh based gospel artist, singer, songwriter and anointed praise worship leader.

She has written many praise and worship songs, but her first recorded song “Christmas time” was produced in 2012. Ama has successfully been the leader of two church choirs in Edinburgh and was the founder and leader of the choir in the church she presently worships.

Her love for music and singing inspired her to start a singing group called Ama-zing Harmonies which is now a household name in North Edinburgh, Pilton area. The group brings members of the community together once monthly to learn new songs, sing together, share food, unwind, network in a relaxing atmosphere and celebrate the diversity of all who attend the group. The group also invites professional singers and artists to add colour and fun to their activities. The uniqueness of this group attracts new members every month. Ama-zing harmonies has also caught the attention of Edinburgh press and the group has been featured a few times in the North Edinburgh news because of its impact in the community.
