It is for His mercies that we are not consumed. His love endures forever, His mercies endures forever. Aren’t we thankful that He is a merciful God. Can you for one moment think what might have been if it were not for the mercies of God? We would have been condemned. But thank God His mercy said no.

^{Ezra 3:11} And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever toward Israel.”

Then all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.
