Matthew 6:25-27 “This is why I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? Can any of you add a single cubit to his height by worrying?
No amount of worrying can add a single hour to our lives or even provide for our needs. God provides for us, He meets us at the point of our needs. The birds in the sky don’t sow or reap but God feeds them. We are worth more than those birds to God, so He cares for us and provides all that we require. Today lift your voice in thanksgiving that God is our great provider and He supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
