Devotional: VICTORY IN CHRIST | June 21, 2026
Written by Sunny Unachi on 21st June 2026
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Romans 8:37 (NKJV)
Life is filled with battles. Some are visible, while others are fought quietly within our hearts and minds. We battle fear, temptation, disappointment, grief, discouragement, and uncertainty. Left to ourselves, these struggles can feel overwhelming. Yet as believers, we do not fight for victory—we fight from a position of victory because of what Christ has already accomplished on the cross.
When Jesus declared, “It is finished,” He secured our victory over sin, death, and the power of the enemy. This does not mean we will never experience hardships, but it assures us that no challenge has the final say over our lives. Our identity is not defined by our failures or our circumstances but by our relationship with Christ.
Being “more than conquerors” means that even the trials we face become opportunities for God to reveal His power, strengthen our faith, and shape our character. What the enemy intends for harm, God can use for our good and His glory.
Whatever battle you are facing today, remember that Christ goes before you. Stand firm in His promises and refuse to let fear dictate your response. Victory belongs to those who place their confidence in the Lord.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the victory I have through Jesus Christ. Thank You that no challenge, trial, or attack of the enemy is greater than Your power.
Lord, strengthen my heart when I feel weary and remind me that I am never alone in my battles. Help me to stand firmly on Your Word and trust that You are working all things together for my good. Give me courage to face each day with confidence, knowing that You have already secured my victory.
May my life reflect the hope and assurance that comes from belonging to You. Help me overcome every obstacle with faith, perseverance, and unwavering trust in Your promises. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
