‘Glasgow Worships’ is a community event, hosted by a talented team of singers, instrumentalists and performers from churches across the city of Glasgow and from local communities. It is an inspiring celebration of Gospel music and arts in contemporary, traditional and other styles that reflect the vibrancy and diversity of Christianity in modern Scotland. It aims to uphold the city’s traditional motto; “Let Glasgow Flourish by The Preaching of the Word, and the Praising of His name”! Launched in September 2012, the show now attracts a large following of people from all walks of life, from all the corners of Glasgow. The glorious Glasgow inter-church Mass Choir will be ministering inspirational and uplifting Gospel pieces as usual, supported by various other acts. This year, Glasgow’s own Steph Macleod will also be leading worship and sharing his life testimony in the process. The energetic, Gospel Afro-beats dancers, ‘Audacious’, will also be performing live! The event is free for all and suitable for the whole family, including young children. Glasgow Christian Radio personality, Jules Crispin will be the M.C. This Saturday 9th September, 2017 from 6pm, all roads lead to The Church of Pentecost located at 1123 Cathcart Road, G42 9BD, for the 5th edition of Glasgow Worships dubbed “Let it Rise!” You’re bound to be blessed, don’t miss it!
