Jennifer Lopez’s 12-year Old Daughter Releases Children Christian Book

Written by on 3rd October 2020

Jennifer Lopez’s 12-year-old daughter Emme shared the stage with her superstar mom during the Super Bowl halftime show earlier this year. Now, she’s publishing her first book.

The picture book, which is called “Lord Help Me,” was released Sept. 29, according to “Good Morning America.”

The book is about the power of prayer, which Emme told People magazine has been a part of her life since she was 5 years old.

But the book was also inspired by something else — Emme’s love of sloths.

“She was like, maybe we can write a book where we can save the sloths, and we can use the money to save the sloths,” Lopez told “Good Morning America.”

Emme said both her mother and grandmother helped to teach her about prayer, during an interview with the “Today” show. She also said that she prays often for Lopez before she goes out to perform.

“I do pray for my mother,” Emme said on “Today.” “I usually pray before she does her shows and stuff, ’cause she can get hurt in many ways.”

Emme told People that she is excited to share “the power of prayer” through her new book.

“I really hope children are able to learn to pray, share the book and spread the power of prayer after reading it,” Emme said, according to People.
