KATE STANFORD RELEASES “RIGHT NEXT TO ME”

Faith-based folk pop singer/songwriter Kate Stanford has released “Right Next To Me” to Christian radio. Written by Stanford, Karin Simmons, and Dan Macal and produced by Kevin Embleton, the Christian AC song delivers a message of belonging, grace, and choosing unity even when people do not see eye to eye.
“I wrote ‘Right Next To Me’ as an anthem of belonging after experiencing exclusion in my life,” Stanford shares. “It is a reminder to listeners that no matter our differences, there is a seat at God’s table for everyone, and there is always a seat open, right next to me.”
That invitation sits at the heart of the song’s chorus: “The table’s big and wide / We both belong even if we can’t see eye to eye.” Rather than allowing differences to become barriers, “Right Next To Me” points listeners toward the abundance of God’s love and the opportunity to extend that love to one another.
Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Stanford began singing at age six and released her debut EP, *Bloom*, at 17. Her song “I’m a Believer” was featured on the *Palau the Movie* soundtrack and played in theaters nationwide. Now based in Nashville, Stanford has received playlist placement from Spotify and Apple Music, including Spotify’s “All New Christian & Gospel” and long-term placement on “Faith and Folk.”
Stanford has also built significant momentum at Christian radio. Her previous song, “Rise,” debuted at #1 on the Christian Radio Chart (CRC) Weekly chart and went on to reach #1 on both the CRC Monthly and Quarterly charts. She has performed at festivals including Soulfest, SonRise, Lifest, and Kingdom Bound and has opened on tour for artists such as Seph Schlueter and Jaci Velasquez.
