The most anticipated night of the UK Gospel music industry’s calendar is back again with the third edition of the ‘Premier Gospel Music Awards’. Organised by the UK’s leading Gospel music radio station Premier Gospel, the high profile event celebrates and highlights the best of UK Gospel music, the artists and industry players.

The progressive increase in UK- grown talent, coupled some of the biggest names on the planet releasing songs such as ‘Blinded By your Grace’ by Stormzy, performing traditional gospel songs like ‘How Great Is Our God’ like Chance The Rapper did at the Grammys and Snoop Dogg announcing the release of his Gospel Album ‘Bible of Love’ indicates that it’s been a great year for the genre.

Muyiwa Olarewaju, Premier Gospel Station Manager said: premier-awards

“Over the years we have seen artists who we’ve championed before anyone knew them go on to become MOBO award winners and BBC Gospel Choir of the Year finalists. As the only dedicated Gospel music awards in the UK, Premier Gospel is delighted that we get the opportunity to celebrate both national and international talent, and bring artists from grassroots to the attention of mainstream.”
