Belgium based Nigerian beauty, UniekGrace is a singer/songwriter who is stirring the Afro-Pop waters in Europe and Nigeria with her single ‘I’m A Survivor – Remix’, taken off her debut EP ‘E Go Better’ released in January 2018. With an eccentric and upbeat combination of Afro- Pop and European house music influences, ‘I’m A Survivor’ is a celebratory song of survival after difficult times.
UniekGrace wrote the song as a declaration of victory after managing to pick herself up and chase her goals despite being lured into the home of a family friend who proceeded to rape her at the tender age of 15. UniekGrace said; “At that point of my life I had lost faith in everything including God. It took me many years to recover. But I really believe that everything I went through back then has made me strong and more determined make it. There is nothing that I feel I can’t overcome and that’s why ‘I’m A Survivor’ means so much to me and my fans.” Since the release of ‘I’m A Survivor’ UniekGrace has toured Nigeria and has received amazing feedback, with the single being played on some of the major radio and TV platforms in the country.

The video has also received a lot of love as UniekGrace shows exactly why her stage name is so apt. She incorporates her creativity and a strong sense of style in the video whilst confirming her determination to push boundaries.
