Devotional: GOD’S FAITHFULNESS | June 10, 2026

22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

One of the most comforting truths in Scripture is that God is faithful. Human promises can fail, circumstances can change, and people can disappoint us, but God remains true to His Word.

The prophet Jeremiah wrote about God’s faithfulness during a time of hardship and sorrow. Despite the challenges surrounding him, he found hope in remembering God’s steadfast love and mercy.

When we look back on our lives, we can often see evidence of God’s faithfulness in ways we did not recognize at the time. He has provided, protected, guided, and sustained us through countless situations.

God’s faithfulness gives us confidence for the future. The same God who carried us through yesterday will be with us tomorrow. No matter what season you are facing, you can trust that He will never abandon His promises.

Prayer
Faithful Father, thank You for Your steadfast love and unwavering faithfulness. Through every season of my life, You have remained constant and dependable.

Help me remember Your goodness when challenges arise and remind me of the many times You have carried me through difficult situations. Strengthen my trust in Your promises and give me confidence in Your plans.

Lord, thank You that Your mercies are new every morning. Teach me to rely on You daily and to remain faithful in my own walk with You. May my life be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
