LILAC BEATS SET TO RELEASE FIRST CHRISTIAN DANCE MUSIC ALBUM FOLLOWING SUCCESS OF DANCE IN PARADISE

Lilac Beats a dance and electronica act from North Wales UK are about to release the follow up to their popular debut album ‘Dance in Paradise’, this time an album that fuses electronic and gospel music together. The new album is entitled ‘Hope’
and mixes a variety of music styles proving their flexibility, from the rock guitars title track ‘Hope’ to the rhythmic drum and bass of ‘The Light’ and typical Lilac Beats of ‘Amazing Things’ and ‘No Scar too Deep’ this album is a natural progression from last months ‘Jesus is Here EP’.
As British Christian musicians go, Lilac Beats are likely to resonate with the younger audience. You can hear influences from the likes of Chase & Status, Pet Shop Boys and early to mid 1990’a techno music. The lyrics speak to you, they feel authentic and traditional with Biblical stories talking about creation, miracles and more. Will this be a hit? It’s a bit of an unknown with a relatively unknown or new band. If this gets enough airplay then I’m sure it’ll catch on as it’s likely to be very attractive to anyone who lived through the 1990’s onwards.
Lilac Beats say “We are excited for the release of this album, we are happy to be spreading the message that Jesus is truly alive and that there is hope despite what it looks like when looking at the world there days. There really is hope, we want to spread love and extend our hands to all people no matter who you are.”
Hints that ‘The Light’ will be the first single from this album are pleasing, as this is most likely to be the favourite track on this album.
From rock to techno, and pop to electronica and spoken word to all out rave, this album truly has something for everyone, whether you’re a Christian or not, and that’s probably the most pleasing thing about this album from an evangelical perspective, it’s likely to have general appeal and the lyrics are very much likely to speak to you, giving messages of hope, love and faith.
