The world’s highest-profile gospel competition, How Sweet the Sound, featuring the best contemporary gospel talent in music, dance, and spoken word, is expanding across the Atlantic by coming to Royal Albert Hall, London, UK, on 20 October 2024.

The notable judges for this event’s London competition include the founder of the Kingdom Choir, Karen Gibson MBE, Bazil Meade MBE, of the London Community Gospel Choir plus Premier Gospel radio presenter, singer and songwriter Muyiwa Olarewaju OBE, hosted by Grammy Award-winning songwriter and record producer Donald Lawrence.

Beverley White, the CEO of P45 Consultancy Ltd, has been announced as a critical partner to drive marketing efforts for partnership & sponsorship for this highly anticipated event at the iconic Royal Albert Hall this October.

The How Sweet The Sound competition started in the US in 2007 and quickly became a pivotal platform known for celebrating the sounds and presentation of gospel music. American gospel music production comprises choirs, soloists, praise teams, spoken word artists, and dance ensembles. London’s Royal Albert Hall edition of How Sweet The Sound debuts on October 20, 2024, at 6 pm, following the US production in Atlanta in June 2024.

Registration is open for soloists, praise teams, choirs, and spoken-word artists. Online auditions for How Sweet The Sound UK are now open until 16 April 2024.
